Best Time to Exercise in the Month of Fasting

Windowofworld.com – Sports are becoming a trend for a healthy lifestyle that is being intensively carried out during this pandemic. The implementation of the recommendation at home by the government makes our movement activities lessened. So that exercise becomes one of the activities that can be done to keep the body healthy and fit.

There are many types of sports that we can do, from light exercise to strenuous exercise. The benefits of exercise alone are numerous. Among them are maintaining body fitness, maintaining body weight, strengthening muscles and bones, increasing endurance, improving sleep quality, and so on.

There are three best times for sports, namely morning, evening, and evening. In the morning when your stomach is still empty, in the afternoon when your body temperature is at its peak, and at night when you have finished your daily activities. Then, when is the best time to exercise while fasting?

The best time to exercise in the fasting month

The fasting month does not prevent us from keeping our bodies in shape with exercise. However, when fasting, our bodies may be more prone to dehydration. For this reason, it is necessary to pay attention to the time, type, and intensity of exercise carried out in the fasting month so that it remains safe. Here are the best times to exercise in the fasting month.

After Fajr

After Fajr is one of the best times to exercise during the fasting month. At this time, our bodies have received nutrients and carbohydrates at dawn. In addition, the thirst that arises after exercising can still be overcome by the body.

Some of the sports that we can do in the morning while fasting are jogging and relaxing cycling. But keep in mind, the exercise we do must also be of light intensity so that dehydration does not occur.

Before breaking the fast

Before breaking the fast is also the best time to exercise, especially for those of you who want to lose weight. Exercising on an empty stomach is more effective at burning fat in the body.

Avoid strenuous exercise so as not to become dehydrated after exercise. Sports that can be done include cycling and jogging.

Night After Iftar

The best time to exercise in the next fasting month is after breaking the fast. We can start exercising some time after breaking the fast so that the food we consume when breaking the fast has been digested by the body.

Sports that can be done at night after breaking the fast are light jogging, treadmills, and bowling. Also calculate your exercise time so that you don’t have physical activity 2 hours before bed.

Those were the best times for sports in the fasting month that we can do. Stay in shape during fasting, yes!
