Dwayne Johnson Will Not Return To ‘Fast And Furious’, Angry Over Vin Diesel’s Comments?
Windowofworld.com – Johnson Confirms He Won’t Be Back In ‘Fast And Furious’ 10, Or Maybe Even Forever. When Asked About Diesel’s Recent Comments, He Thinks It’s Funny.
Dwayne Johnson insists he will not be returning for “Fast and Furious” 10 or 11. The actor first joined the franchise in “Fast Five” as Agent Luke Hobbs of the US Diplomatic Security Service.
Johnson’s absence from the latest installment of the franchise, “F9” has reignited rumors of infighting and tension. Rumors of the feud began in 2016, before the release of “The Fate of the Furious”. At the time, Johnson posted an Instagram caption criticizing some of his male co-stars, which Johnson later confirmed was meant for Vin Diesel.
Recently, Diesel explained in an interview that he takes a strong love approach as a technique to ensure actors’ performances go the way they want them to. Although Johnson attributed his absence from F9 to scheduling conflicts, it is believed that Johnson will reappear especially since director Justin Lin mentioned the possibility of bringing him back in the 10th film.
Johnson told THR that Hobbs won’t be returning in “Fast and Furious” 10, or maybe even forever. When asked about Diesel’s recent comments, Johnson briefly explained that he found them funny.
“I laughed and I laughed out loud. I think everyone was laughing at that. And I’ll stop there. And I wish them well,” he said. “I wish them well in Fast 9. And I wish them all the best in Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the other Fast & Furious movies they did without me.”
Johnson himself is known to be very busy. Apart from starting production of his film “Red Notice”, he is also developing his biographical series for NBC, “Young Rock” and what is more anticipated is his role in the upcoming film “Black Adam”.
