Ibanez Guitars By The 2006 NAMM Show
There are a number of new Ibanez guitar models at various NAMM shows and so will be NAMM in winter 2006. Ibanez unveils a new Steve Vai JEM Signature model at the January 2005 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA. It was called Bad Horsie after a Steve Vai song with the same name. This guitar has a “Rock Mirror” finish with a corresponding mirror-pick guard.
The new model also contains the signature JEM appointments of a “Monkey Grip” handler cut into the baswood body and a towed tremolo cavity so that the slopes of the tremolo arm to the tremolo arm can be increased.
Bad Horsie joined a long range of Steve Vai’s JEM signature models, first introduced in June 1987 at the Chicago NAMM show.
At the January 2005 show, Ibanez unveiled the new Acoustic Guitar Line of the Exotic Wood with three different, visually striking and surprisingly inexpensive models in high-pitched ash, curly maple and zebra wood. The launch was so well received that Ibanez announced the first acoustic-electric version during the Indianapolis Summer NAMM show.
“Even more radicals can not be seen: a unique wood support system under the bridge Ibanez called” Sound Expand “construction, we can use thinner bracing, which allows the top to vibrate freely. It also offers even balance between heights, lows and mids. “- Responds to Irene Shvartsman of Ibanez Acoustic Guitars.
“We found the guitar to be dramatically higher and larger in tone than the same guitar without the Sound Expand construction.”
The amazing Ibanez guitarist Joe Satriani and Planet Waves Company will officially launch a series of new straps and add-ons to the 2006 Anaheim NAMM. show during a private concert event during the show. The big news is that the concert will be for Joe’s supporters at Satriani.com in early February! Stay on the website for more details.
Joe Satriani will also appear at the Planet Waves / D’Addario stand # 4834 in Saal C of the Anaheim-NAMM show on Saturday 21 January.
