Movie Review – Asylum
group of students finds that their dorm is being driven by a mal doctor with a flair for pain and torture on his patients (as he believes it is the medicine for their diseases.) . The doctor’s mind wakes up, and is out to get new patients to heal.
I expected something good from this movie before I entered the movie house. Maybe it was because of the plot poster, or maybe even the title. I did not see it from the start (like I came in the movie for about 20 minutes), and I was planning to last longer to see just the beginning. But when I got a glimpse of the movies, I knew I made the wrong choice. It was boring. It was thin. The kinematography was something a student could have done. There was too much dead air. The story is too predictable (as I’ve seen this scratch-type movie a million times) and it was too flat. Even the peaks were useless attempts to whip the audiences. The end was worse than the rest of the movie. I’ve never regret watching a movie and felt like I wasted my money to watch a movie to this one. To sum it all up: it’s a waste of money.
