The Da Vinci Code: A must movie or nSee
The DA VINCI CODE: A must see movie or an example of blasphemy?
The first time I heard from Da Vinci code, I did not pay much attention. All I know is that it’s a novel and that’s it. But when it got a noise because of his controversial twists and turns, riddles, arguments and why Catholics condemned this book, I became so curious that I asked my parents (so religious) to buy me a copy of the book. Of course, they did not buy me one, but I made a way to get a copy. I did not have enough money to buy the book that time, so I just asked my friend to borrow my book. She was so kind enough to allow her copy to me. I read the book and finish it after two weeks (I’m not a bookworm because I’m so slow reading books). And yes, that’s true and I can testify that the story is incredible. There are some parts in the story that make me think and analyze, and there are parts that I ask what? and how is it?
Some of us think it’s a genius book. Some consider it a typical novel. Others say it’s a story that can not be published. But we can see that, Dan Brown can really write a book that makes noise and controversy. His other works as between angels and demons, and misleading point, have also attracted many people’s attention. But now Da Vince Code has its own movie, it’s now the new talk of the town.
It is now on almost all movie screens, but passed through many obstacles such as rejections, objections and criticisms from different kinds of people, sectors and religions. Until now, they are still rejected by the Catholics because they say it discourages God, Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and many others who regard them as holy.
Being in things or movies like this does not mean that your faith in God is weak. Often you will learn a lot of things and gain knowledge if you own this quality. But many times you will be misunderstood by the people. Try to impress, people are so intelligent that whatever you forbid to do, say or look, make them more curious to do it, to say it and to see it. In simple terms, the more you forbid the movie, the more they will see it.
Now it’s your time to decide. Are you confident with your faith in God that you think it can not be destroyed by someone or something? Do you see that Da Vinci code the movie is purely fictional? Or are you planning to believe in anything you see and anything you watch? It is a matter of how flat or how deep your intelligence, analyzes and faith in God are.
