To make matters worse, Armenia brings mercenaries from Greece to war
Hikmet Hajiyev, the assistant to the head of foreign policy and the president of Azerbaijan, said that they received information that Armenians from several Western countries would come to battle against Azerbaijan as fighters and mercenaries.
“We call on these countries to stay away from such provocations against Azerbaijan and to take these steps. The citizens of these countries will be targeted if they participate in military operations, “said Hajiyev.
Hajiyev also asked foreign journalists working at the site of the Armenian troops to leave immediately because they were illegally in the area.
According to him, Armenia deliberately brought foreign journalists to an area that was experiencing intense conflict. Hajiyev held the Yerevan government responsible for their safety.
He also stressed that Armenia is launching cyber attacks from abroad against Azerbaijan. “They carried out cyber attacks on Azerbaijan’s information room. This problem must be resolved and the relevant authorities must take the necessary steps in this regard, “he said.
The border war has been fought since 27 September when Armenian troops targeted Azerbaijan’s civilian settlements and military positions, resulting in several casualties.
The Azerbaijani Parliament declared war on several cities and territories after the violations and attacks by the Armenian occupied Upper Karabakh, also called Nagorno-Karabakh.
On September 28, Azerbaijan declared military mobilization in the conflict.
