Videos on PSP
If you are like any number of video game enthusiasts, you may have already purchased the Sony PSP to play your video games along the way. The PSP has proven to be very popular in teenagers as well as younger adults. There are many reasons for this, and one big one apart from the PSP game aspect. The popularity of the PSP has increased due to its ability to play videos.
With over four hundred movies currently available on UMD, Sony’s mini-CDs that made them known with the PSP, you want those popcorn to start and work for movie night. So, how do you play movies on the PSP? If you are using an UMD, follow these simple instructions:
Get your PSP and UMD handy
To play UMD, open your PSP by moving the latch.
Place the UMD with the label to the back of the system.
Move UMD until you click on
Create PSP and enjoy!
If you want to transfer movies or videos from your computer, follow these steps:
Get your PSP, Memory Stick Duo, USB A ready for mini B cable.
Find your movie or video on your computer and format to MP4 file type, if it’s not already an MP4
Put the movies on your computer. Open the folder.
Attach your PSP to your computer with a blank USB port and cable.
Add Memory Stick Duo to PSP by opening the lock on the left side of the PSP. Memory Stick completely and lock the door.
Turn power on PSP
In the Cross Media bar, select the settings list and then select USB connection.
Transfer the movie (s) to the MP_ROOT100MNV01 folder on the memory stick, either by dragging the movie and dropping your hard drive or copying / pasting the movie.
Find the popcorn and enjoy your movie!
